Xiaomi Civi S later this month, at least that’s what emerging information shows. This will be a build-up of the Civi series that came out last year. The smartphones will initially appear in China and will rather stay there under this name. However, as is often the case with Xiaomi, it may be that a similar twin model, but with a different name, will appear soon on European markets.
And what can we count on in this model? The heart of the smartphone will probably be Snapdragon 778G. It will work with a maximum of 12 GB of RAM. 256 GB of disk space will be allocated to the files. The smartphone will, of course, support 5G networks.
The Xiaomi Civi S screen will have a diagonal of 6.55 inches and will be made in AMOLED LTPO technology. It will support Full HD + resolution and will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will also likely be folded at the side edges.
The smartphone will offer a triple head unit. The basic camera looks good. It will be a webcam equipped with a Samsung GW3 matrix with a resolution of 64 Mpix. There will be optical image stabilization here. An ultra-wide-angle camera will complement it with an 8 Mpix matrix. The hole will be closed with a 2 Mpix “eye” dedicated to macro photos.
Xiaomi Civil S will also offer a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, which will support fast charging at 67 or 55 W. Visually, the smartphone should resemble the Xiaomi 12. It will probably also have an IP68 certificate.
At the moment, the price of the device is unknown. It is said, however, that it is to debut in China this month. Then – as we have already mentioned – a similar model with a different name may appear in other markets. Then, all that remains is to wait and possibly look for such a model.
